Secondary Schools

For over ten years Neptune has been a leading provider of both land and water based outdoor programmes for youth and school groups. Each programme incorporates elements of team interaction, challenging activities and of course lots of fun! Based on the idea of Learning through "Experiences" our programmes are specifically designed to enhance and develop an individual's interpersonal skills thus dissolving barriers that do exist within groups.

At Neptune we use the unfamiliar surroundings of the outdoors as a tool in assisting us to encourage people to learn about themselves and the group. The normal order of "rank" within a group becomes invalid in this environment. Involved in our tasks and activities are hidden agendas, the children have fun but develop interpersonal skills, leadership skills as well as other important abilities that will excel through life. We have also expanded our range of programmes to include An Gaisce Presidents Award expeditions and have facilities to cater for much larger numbers.
